Your role:
As Treasury and Cash Management Officer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Woliz’s treasury. You’ll monitor bank accounts, secure payment flows, optimize liquidity, and help steer treasury operations in line with internal procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Treasury management: Monitor daily bank balances, contribute to building the treasury plan, prepare short-term cash forecasts, and optimize available funds.
- Banking relations: Download and check bank statements, manage day-to-day relationships with banks, and follow up on account openings or changes.
- Payments: Prepare payment runs, check supporting documents, prepare transfer files, and track payment execution.
- Bank reconciliations: Carry out reconciliations on treasury accounts, analyze discrepancies, and check bank fees and commissions.
- Reporting: Build treasury reports, track liquidity indicators, and take part in monthly closings.
What we’re looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, or Management.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of first experience in treasury, bank accounting, or finance.
- Background: Prior experience in a finance, banking, payment institution, or fintech environment is a plus.
- Tools: Strong command of Excel.
- Technical skills: Good understanding of banking operations and solid experience with bank reconciliations.
- Soft skills: Analytical mindset, rigor, and strong organizational skills.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Sage 100 is a plus.
