Position Context

Main Mission

As a UX/UI Designer at Woliz, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the user experience across all our digital products (web and mobile). Your role is strategic: you translate complex business challenges into intuitive and accessible journeys for users with diverse profiles, including local merchants with limited technological experience.

You will work across at least three distinct environments: Woliz Pro (management solution for nanostores with terminal and app), Woliz App (consumer app for payments and loyalty), and Woliz Partners (B2B platform for FMCG brands and institutional partners). Each product presents unique challenges in usability, adoption, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

Design and structure user journeys across the three platforms (Woliz Pro, Woliz App, Woliz Partners), considering field constraints, real usage patterns, and varying levels of digital literacy. Ensure overall experience consistency across all touchpoints.

Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or similar tools. Document interface specifications and maintain an evolving design system to ensure scalability and visual consistency.

Conduct user testing and field research to validate design assumptions, identify friction points, and continuously improve interfaces. Analyze both quantitative and qualitative feedback to prioritize improvements.

Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and technical teams to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions and support implementation. Participate in product rituals (sprint planning, design reviews, retrospectives) and contribute actively to product strategy.

Simplify complexity by translating sophisticated business processes (partner integrations, financial flows, inventory management, loyalty programs) into clear and accessible interfaces. The main challenge is to make technology invisible to the end user.

Required Profile

3 to 5 years of proven experience in UX/UI Design, ideally in a tech, product, or growing startup environment. Experience in retail, fintech, or mobile-first products is a significant plus.

Advanced proficiency in Figma, with demonstrated ability to create scalable design systems and manage complex component libraries.

Strong skills in user research, including conducting interviews, facilitating usability tests, analyzing behavioral data, and synthesizing actionable insights.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and structure work in complex and ambiguous contexts. You can balance perfection with pragmatism, innovation with familiarity, and business requirements with user needs.

Product ownership mindset with strong product culture, ability to take initiative, challenge assumptions, and propose structured creative solutions. You contribute to the product vision rather than just executing briefs.

Autonomous, rigorous, and detail-oriented with particular attention to visual consistency, accessibility, and execution quality. You have a keen eye for micro-interactions and interface states.

Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills. You can present and defend design decisions, integrate constructive feedback, and work in synergy with technical and business profiles.
