About Woliz

Woliz is a Moroccan retail-tech and fintech company that, as a partner aggregator, transforms nanostores (local neighborhood shops) into connected points of sale. Our end-to-end solution integrates artificial intelligence, digital payments, financial services, and modern management tools to support the African retail ecosystem in its digital transformation.

Your Mission

Imagine walking into the offices of the biggest FMCG brands in Morocco and Africa, sitting across from their leadership, and convincing them that the future of informal retail runs through WOLIZ. That is your job. You will hunt, pitch, close, and grow partnerships with major FMCG brands and distributors. You will build a high-performing sales team from scratch, define the go-to-market playbook for brand acquisition, and turn conversations into contracts. If you have spent years building relationships in the FMCG world and you are ready to use that network to change how an entire industry operates, this role was written for you.

Required Profile

  • 8 to 15 years of experience in FMCG sales, key account management, or business development, with a proven track record of closing large B2B deals with major brands or distributors.
  • Deep personal network within the Moroccan FMCG ecosystem: you know the decision-makers at major brands, distributors, and bottlers, and they know you.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex, multi-stakeholder solutions to large organizations. You do not just pitch a product; you build a vision that gets buy-in from procurement, marketing, and general management simultaneously.
  • Experience managing and scaling a sales team (5+ people): hiring, coaching, setting targets, and holding people accountable.
  • Strong commercial instincts: you know how to structure creative deals that create value for both sides and that go way beyond a simple vendor relationship.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills: you are equally comfortable pitching to a procurement manager and presenting to a C-suite audience.
  • Data-driven mindset: you use CRM data, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to optimize sales performance, not just gut feeling.
  • Fluent in French and English. Arabic (Darija) is a strong advantage for field relationships.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Morocco and potentially across Africa.
  • Bac+5 in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent. MBA is a plus.

What We Offer

  • A role with direct, measurable impact on the company’s growth trajectory.
  • The chance to build and lead your own sales organization from the ground up.
  • A front-row seat in a market that is being created, not competed over.
  • Involvement in strategic partnership decisions at the highest level.
  • A dynamic, fast-moving startup environment where initiative is rewarded, not bureaucracy.
  • An attractive compensation package with a significant performance-based component.
  • Strong career growth opportunities as the company scales across Africa.
